FAQ
The correct choice of punch press is the prerequisite for exerting its high-quality performance. So how to select the punch press? How to choose a punch press?
Model selection method: first understand the product requirements - then determine the mold - then select the punch [tonnage, speed] - determine the auxiliary equipment near the punch
Since the purpose of consumers purchasing a punch machine is to process stamped parts, when choosing a punch machine, they must first understand what the punch machine will be used for, that is, have engineering drawings of the product. Then based on the engineering drawings, find a mold manufacturer and determine a good mold. Usually there is not only one kind of mold for a product, there are single punch, progressive, three-material belt, high-speed, etc. Customers can choose according to their own product needs. After knowing the mold in this way, you can know the tonnage, speed, operating table size required by the punch, as well as what kind of raw material rack, straightening machine, feeder and other auxiliary equipment near the punch press. This is the proper punch model selection method.
How to choose molds for high-speed punching machines
Check whether there are any damaged parts in the high-speed punch mold and whether the tightening screws are loose.
Before installing and using the high-speed punch mold, it is necessary to strictly inspect and remove dirt and check whether the guide sleeve and the mold are well lubricated.
Inspect the wheel disc and mold mounting base of the high-speed punch machine to ensure the coaxial output accuracy of the left and right wheel discs.
When the mold base and cavity tooth surface of the high-speed punch mold are damaged, they must be stopped and repaired immediately. Otherwise, the degree of damage to the mold tooth surface will be rapidly expanded, the mold damage will be accelerated, and the quality of the stamping parts and the service life of the mold will be reduced.
To ensure the service life of the high-speed punch mold, the spring of the mold should be replaced regularly to prevent spring fatigue and damage from affecting the use of the mold.
Inspect the punch press according to the requirements of the punch press maintenance card, and open the empty stroke several times to check the operating status of the punch press and stamping mold.
Before select high-speed punch mold
① Select a punch press suitable for the tonnage of the mold and check whether the mold‘s width and height are within the allowable range of the punch press.
② The countertops of the left and right cabinets of the punch press should be clean and tidy, and there should be no dirt on them. The bottom edge of the upper die base of the mold should be free of dirt and should be kept flat.
③ The mold should be placed in the middle of the punch cabinet countertop.
④ Select the inching stroke of the punch press.
When choose high speed punch mold
① When laminating, first raise the guide rail slider, and then slowly lower it to the bottom dead center by inching.
② For molds with mold handles, be sure to point the mold handle to the mold handle hole to the bottom dead center, and then shrink the lower mold before closing.
③ For molds without mold handles, place the mold in a suitable position, and be careful not to block the blanking holes in molds with blanking holes.
⑤ The formable mold first tightens the lower mold, then puts in the waste with the required punching material thickness, uses the guide slider to adjust to the appropriate closing height, and air punches it two to three times, and then clamps the upper mold.
⑥ For the V-shaped mold frame, close the left and right mold guide rail.
