Precautions when using cold heading machine:
1. The diameter of steel bars or steel wires should meet the requirements of the multi-station cold heading machine, and steel bars (wires) that are too thick or too thin cannot be cold-headed;
2. Within the allowable range of the cold heading diameter of the punching and heading machine, the position of the clamp (screw in or out) can be adjusted according to the required anchor head size, so as to obtain the appropriate extension allowance of the steel bar (wire);
3. In the 120~130mm area of the cold heading part of the steel bar (wire), rust must be removed and straightened;
4. The ends of the steel bars should be ground flat to ensure the accurate shape of the cold heading anchor head;
5. After the steel bars are heading, they must undergo a tensile test to check whether the strength of the anchor head is qualified.
Incorrect processing methods will cause cold heading machine failures. The following introduces common failures and solutions of cold heading machines:
1. Before starting up, carefully check whether the fasteners of the equipment are locked and whether the safety protection devices are intact, and check frequently during work. Looseness due to severe vibration can also cause malfunctions.
2. After the equipment is adjusted, first pull the flywheel to check whether the various mechanisms are working normally. After removing the lever for the pulley, start the motor to see if the machine is operating normally.
3. Protective devices must be added to prevent rupture and accidents.
4. If a malfunction occurs, multi-station cold heading must be stopped immediately to identify the cause and eliminate hidden dangers.
